The Brandon Hotel in Carlton North is seeking front of house (bar/wait) staff to join our team.
We're a neighbourhood pub in the heart of Carlton North, combining the old school charm of a traditional corner pub with some seriously tasty food, wine and beer.
Ideally, we're looking for someone with all round experience in the bar and on the floor, however if you have solid floor or bar experience and a willingness to learn the rest, we can show you the ropes, as you will work across our bar and restaurant.
Current RSA required and ideally you have mastered a 3-plate carry. No cocktail knowledge required, but fabulous if you have it. If you can pour a good beer, make a coffee, and banter with the locals you’ll fit right in.
We anticipate around 15-25 hours per week will be available to you, with the possibility of increased hours for the right candidate. If you're looking for 10 - 15 hours a week, drop us a line, as that could work too.
We’re open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm – 11pm, and the majority of available shifts will be across evenings and weekends. but flexibility to work mid-week day/evening shifts will offer up the opportunity for more hours.
Award rates apply. Grade 2/3 rates dependent on experience. Meals provided on shift and of course a knock off drink! Staff discount available at other times on meals/drinks. We are open to offering a part-time or full-time arrangement if you are keen join a team longer term - as well as the opportunity to step up into a Supervisor role.
